  • Notes  Married:
    • (Neary a hundred quests gathered at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Noyes at Osceola, Wednesday night. to participate in the intersting ceremonies which made Mrss. Mattie Noyes the wife of Ira C. Boles. Rev. H.M. Lamport perfored the ceremony, assisted by Rev. F.G Browne. Miss Mable Boles, sister of the groom, officiated as bridesmaid and Fred W. Noyes, brother of the bride, as groomsman. Miss Edith Loughman, cousin of the bride, played an
appropriate wedding march as the couple marched into the room. After the ceremony the evening was spent in showering congratulations on the happy pair and in discussing a splendid wedding feast, etc. A large number of the fine bridal presents attested to the popularity of the pair. The bride is well known as one of Mishawaka's popular school teachers the past year. The groom, is a young man of excellent character, and the couple start out in life with the best of prospects. May they live long and happily is the wish of THE ENETERPRISE and a large circle of friends.

This is from The Mishawaka Enterprise of June 26, 1891.)
