    • (Miss Essie Mae Peevey became the bride of Mr. Prentiss Luke on November 7th at 4 o'clock at the home of Rev. H.L. Walker, pastor of the Center Terrace Baptist Church.

      The bride wore a brown and blue ensemble and carried a corsage of tube roses. Her only attendant was Mrs. Wallace Everett.

      Mrs. Peevey is employed at Catherine's Beauty Nook and Mr. Luke after a fourteen day leave will be stationed at Fort Benning, Ga. where Mrs. Luke will join him after the first of January.)
