  	(OBIT: Bangor Daily News Obit: SUSAN B. WARD LIMESTONE - Susan B. Ward, 99, beloved wife of the late Herman A. Ward, died 18 Oct 1998 at a Caribou health-care facility, after a long illness. she was born at Caswell, 02 jun 1899, the daughter of William Philip and Susan (Winter) Bassett. A lifelong Limestone resident, she was a 60 year member of the Order of Eastern Star and also attended the Limestone United Methodist Church. Susan was the current holder of the Limestone Boston Post Cane. She is survived by two daughters, Thurley M. Briggs of Caribou, Mrs. Bernard W. (Norma) Shaw of Augusta, formerly of Limestone, three grandsons, Steve Shaw of Limestone, Ezra James Briggs II of Salt Lake City, Utah, John Ward Briggs of Denver; two granddaughters, Susan Nile of Pittsfield and Sara Hardy of Hermon, four great-grandchildren, Stephen Shaw, Samuel Shaw, Matthew Shaw and Emily Hardy; one great- great-grandson, Dylan Shaw; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1pm Wed at the chapel of the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou, with the Rev. Lawrence Beals officiating. Family and friends may call from 12pm until time of service. Interment will be at Webster Cemetery, Limestone.)
