Cushing King, (1764-1843), enlisted 1780 for three years under Capt. Ebenezer Smith, Col. Michael Jackson, 8th regiment, Massachusetts militia. In 1832 he was allowed a pension for two years' actual service as private, Massachusetts line. He was born in Brattleboro, Vt.; died in Edinburg, N. Y.
