Notes |
- The Noyes Descendants, Vol. II identifies Frank E. Noyes of Brunswick as a soldier in the Civil War from Maine. It shows his residence as Brunswick and assigned to Co. A, 11th Inf.
Noyes, Frank E.; Private; 11th Regt, A Co.; enlisted Nov. 7, 1861; mustered out Nov. 18, 1864; reenlisted US Vet. Vols. May 7, 1865.
There is considerable speculation that Frank E. Noyes later enlisted in the Army as Frank E. Varden.
