- Moses paid his minister rate in Atkinson in 1768. He was active in town affairs, serving as a Surveyor of Lumber Selectman, Highway Surveyor, fence Viewer and Constable. He also served on several committees throughout the years, and even received one vote for President in 1788 (ATR 1:153). Elizabeth, his first wife and Edna, his mother, inherited under the January 19, 1821 will of Moses Greenough.
