| Notes |
- Ebenezer Jordan was a native of Cape Elizabeth. He served as a soldier in the War of 1812, and during his earlier years was employed in the coasting trade, but later settled upon the farm in Pownal, where his son now resides. He died at the age of thirty-eight. He and his wife, formerly Lucy Blackstone, who was a native of Pownal, were the parents of three children, as follows: Nathaniel B. the subject of this sketch; Lydia and Abigail, who are no longer living. The mother lived to reach the age of seventy-five years. She attended the Congregational church.
