      OBIT: Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home Saturday afternoon for Mason W. Finnemore who died at the local hospital after a brief illness. He was 68.

      Born at Limestone April 23,1898, he was the son of William H. and Jennie (Paul) Finnemore.

      He attended schools at Limestone and married Selina Cyr, who survives him. He was a meat cutter and grocer and was employed at Jones G.I. Supermarket. He was a resident of Caribou for many years.

      He was a member of Gray Memorial Methodist Church.

      Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Chapman and Mrs. Reta Haley, both of Caribou; Marjorie Sementilli of Ramsey, N.J.; two brothers, Waldo and Lewis, both of Caribou; four sisters, Mrs. Marcia Noyes of Caribou, Mrs. Thelma Hjulstrom of New Sweden, Mrs. Fannie Palmer of Fort Fairfield, Mrs. Hazel Paul of Lebanon, N.H.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

      The Rev. Daniel Harlan, pastor of Gray Memorial Methodist Church, conducted funeral services.

      Pallbearers were Roy Bennett, Harry Dyer, Floyd Finnemore, Alban Cyr, Emery Getchell and Ben Ward.

      Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Perham.)
