    • (In the name of GOD amen. I Katharine Ring, of Salisbury in the county of Essex and commonwealth of Massachusetts, singlewoman, being of sound disposing mind and memory, do, this seventh day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four, make, ordain and publish this my last will and testament.

      1st. My will is that all my just debts and funeral charges be paid out of my estate by my executor hereinafter named.

      2nd. I give, devise and bequeath unto Betsy T. Ring, wife of my brother Page Ring, my large looking glass and fifteen dollars; to her and her heirs and assigns forever.

      3rd. I give, devise and bequeath unto my neice Katharine Ring, daughter of my brother Page Ring, my best feather bed, bolster and pillows, two pair of sheets, two pair of pillow cases, one blue and white coverlet, one counterpane, one under bed, bedstead and cord, one checked bed blanket, one damask table cloth and three diaper towels, one round table, one large pewter platter, one pewter quart basin, my string of gold beads and my best silk gown; to her and her heirs and assigns forever.

      4th. I give, devise and bequeath to my neice Susan Ring, daughter of my brother Page Ring, my next best feather bed, bolster and pillows, two pair of sheets, two pair of pillow cases, one blue and white coverlet, my best callico quilt, light coloured, one under bed, bedstead and cord, my round arm chair, one large diaper table cloth, two damask towels and one diaper towel, one pewter platter and my stone ear knobs and one large silver spoon; to her and her heirs and assigns forever.

      5th. I give, devise and bequeath to my neice Mary Ring, daughter of my brother Page Ring, my next best feather bed, bolster and pillows, two pair of sheets, two pair of pillow cases, one blue woolen quilt and my next best callico quilt, one under bed, bedstead and cord, one long diaper table cloth, two damask towels and one diaper towel, one large silver table spoon, one pewter platter, one box irons, also my loom, quill wheel, warping bars, [gears?], spools and shuttles; to her and her heirs and assigns forever.

      6th. I give, devise and bequeath to my nephew Page Ring, son of my brother Page Ring, one small bible, one trunk and sixty dollars; to him and his heirs and assigns forever.

      7th. I give, devise and bequeath to Betsy T. Ring, wife of my brother Page Ring, and to Katharine Ring, Susan Ring, and Mary Ring, daughters of my brother Page Ring, all my wearing apparel not heretofore disposed of, to be equally divided between them; to them and their heirs and assigns forever.

      8th. I give, devise and bequeath to Pauline Ring, wife of my nephew George Ring, eight dollars; to her and her heirs and assigns forever.

      9th. I give, devise and bequeath to Pauline Ring, daughter of my nephew George Ring, my smallest silver table spoon; to her and her heirs and assigns forever.

      All the foregoing legacies to be paid at my decease.

      10th. I give, devise and bequeath to my brother Page Ring, my chaise, beds and bedding, household furniture, notes of hand and money, and all the rest and [residue?] of my property, of whatever name or nature, and wherever the same may be found, except what is heretofore disposed of in this will; to him and his heirs and assigns forever.

      Finally. I hereby constitute and appoint my said brother Page Ring above named sole executor of this my last will and testament.

      In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
