    • (OBIT: Died at her home near Weippe, October 6, 1903, Mrs. Susan G Noyes, aged 83 years, 6 months and 8 days.

      Susan G. Bourn was born in Sutton, Canada, near Quebec, in 1820. At the age of 19 years she was united in marriage to Hiram K Noyes. There were eleven children born of this union, of which nine are living. In April, 1878, the husband and father died, aged 61. At the age of 16 she united with the Methodist Episcopal Church, of which she was a member forty years. In the year 1884 she united with the Seventh Day Adventist Church, of which she was a member up to the time of her death. Her son, L. A. Noyes, of Weippe, and daughters, Mrs. C. H. Talbott, of Weippe, and Mrs. J.H. Shriner, of Leland, were with her at the time of her death. The other children are living in the east.
