James Austin Williams to Be Buried With Military Honors.
The body of James Austin Williams, sergeant in Company D, Third Oregon, now the 162nd Infantry, who died November 17 of pneumonia at the Rockefeller Institute in New York, will be buried Tuesday in Riverview Cemetery with full military honors. Services will be held in the chapel of the Skewes Undertaking Company. The funeral will be under the auspices of Webfoot Camp No. 65, Woodmen of the World.
Sergeant Williams was the son of Mrs. George A. Noyes, of 739 Kenilworth avenue.

WILLIAMS – At the Rockefeller institute, New York City, of pneumonia, November 16, 1917, James Austin Williams, late sergeant 162nd Infantry, aged 24 years 10 months 22 days. Deceased is survived by a widow, Mrs. Ruby Williams, of Estacada, Or.; a mother, Mrs. George A. Noyes, of this city; one sister, Mrs. J. A. Matthews, Boise, Idaho; one brother, Earlscort Williams, now serving in France with the 18th Engineers; also a grandmother, Mrs. John W. Scott, Vada, Wash. Deceased was a member of Webfoot Camp, No. 65, W.O.W. Remains will be brought to this city for interment. Funeral notice later.
