- (OBIT: William Monteith Caribou 72. Husband of Elizabeth (Currier) Monteith died 5-15-1990 at Bristol, RI., after a prolonged illness. He was born in Caribou 12-21-1917 the son of Henry and Pauline (Wright) Monteith. He was a graduate of Caribou High School and a communicant of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou. He served with the US Army during WWII. He married Elizabeth 4-3-1940. In addition to his wife of Caribou he is survived by 2 sons, Nelson of Antwerp, Belgium and Jeffrey of Euless, TX., 3 daughters, Mrs. Donald (Loyce) Warner of Houston, TX., Mrs. Robert (Waydette) Poitras of Sanford and Mrs. Raymond (Robertta) Pagano of Bristol, RI., 1 brother, Eugene of St. Augustine, FLA., 2 sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Ford of Fort Worth, TX., and Mrs. Larry (Corral) Smith of Fort Worth, TX., 9 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter. Burial Evergreen cemetery.)
