- Place name meaning, Tablets. It apparently identified a settlement in Moab on the road between Areopolis and Zoar, perhaps at present khirbet Medinet er-rash. Isaiah mourned for Moabite refugees who would have to climb the heights of Luhith to escape the enemy taking over their country (Isa 15:5; Jer. 48:5).
