- (OBIT: A High Mass of Requiem was celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Thursday morning for Mrs. Regina Cyr, widow of Dennis M. Cyr, who died unexpectedly Monday evening. She was 73. Mrs. Cyr was born in Caribou December 24, 1895, and was the daughter of John and Louise Tetu Trusty.
She had lived in Caribou most of her life, but for the past three years had been with her children in California. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and Ladies of St. Anne, also the Royal Neighbors of America.
She is survived by a son, Reginald of Woodland Hills, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. John (Theresa) Grant of Burbank, CA, Mrs. Edward (Louise) Wynne and Miss Anita Cyr of Fullerton, CA, Mrs. Wilfred (Stella) Ouellette of Lomita, CA, Mrs. Douglas (Irene) Harris and Mrs. Byron (Cecile) Harmon of Caribou; 35 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Prayers were said at the Lancaster Funeral Home by the Ladies of St. Anne. The Rev. Renald Labarre, associate pastor of Holy Rosary Church, conducted funeral services.
Pallbearers were Roland Cyr, Wilfred Cyr, Albert Gahagan, Reginald Ouellette, Paul St. Peter and Philip St. Peter. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.)
