The inventory of the estate of Joanna Jacob was taken 17 December 1681 and totalled £264 4s. 6d., including £236 in real estate: "4 acres of land in the field," £80; "one-half house & orchard &c., "£130; "about 2 acres of salt marsh & 1 fresh meadow," £20; and "a cow common," £6 [Middlesex County, Mass. Probate Records 5:298-299].
