Rebeckah (Davis) Davis gravestone
This marker is identifiable as that of Rebecca Davis only because it is next to that of her husband, Colonel Jacob Davis. The stone looks like it was broken off, with only the top half still in place. The inscription is completely worn away except for a few illegible letters just below the level of the grass.

Notes: Located between 189 and 213 Elm Street, near corner of Elm and Spring Streets. Contact Cemetery Superintendent, P.O. Box 533, Montpelier, VT 05601-0533, (802) 223-5352. Burial records were typed onto index cards in 1920, which are stored in the City Clerk's office. The City Clerk will forward requests for look-ups to the volunteer who maintains the records. Copies are available for a reasonable fee.
